Working with Children and Young People in Epsom and online

Children and Young people have a lot to contend with – growing up in a world which feels increasingly confusing and chaotic, not to mention the hormones and brain development that happens throughout your teenage years – it can often all feel overwhelming.
I have completed specific training to be able to support children and young people; and typically work with children from the age of 12 upwards. I also have two neurodiverse children myself, so have lived experience of what this can be like for children growing up in a world designed for neurotypical people.
If you are a child or young person I will need your parents permission to work with you, but you would be my ‘client’; and therefore everything you say to me would be kept confidential – except if I was worried that you were at risk of harm to yourself or someone else.
I work either online, or face to face in Epsom with young people. Unfortunately I am not able to offer walking therapy to anyone under the age of 18 for safety reasons.
I also typically work during school hours, and as such this can sometimes be tricky to find the time if you yourself are at school. However, depending on where you are based I may be able to travel to your school to meet with you there (your parents would just need to ask for the school’s permission to do so).
If you are interested in having an initial chat to see how we might work together please do reach out either by phone or email and we can arrange a 15 minute conversation to meet each other – usually this is also done with your parents as they may have some questions for me.
The hardest step if often just admitting that you need some extra help, so well done for being here, reading, and thinking about who might be the best person to help you.
